CUSTOMERS TESTIMONIALS
Literature Review
“Overall, BIOLEDGE respects the deadlines and are completely flexible on the course of the studies in order to stick as closely as possible to our projects, and this is very much appreciated.
Based on their fast and efficient selection of articles, we also appreciate being able to refine this list of sources with regard to their relevance to our projects. Studies conducted by BIOLEDGE are then well synthesized and delivered in a clear form.
We thank BIOLEDGE for their work and we are fully satisfied with our collaboration for these bibliographical studies.”
Competitive Landscape
“We asked BIOLEDGE to help us with an H2020 project in the field of regenerative medicine. We needed a market study to feed the "Ambition" and "Expected impacts" sections of our client's application file. We knew the importance of this study to ensure the project's best chances of success.
Thanks to the analysis of clinical trials and patents, BIOLEDGE was able to establish a detailed mapping of the public and private players involved and identify emerging trends in this field.
This factual data enabled us to position our client's project in its competitive environment. Project leaders sometimes lack objective visions of their strategic approach, BIOLEDGE's intervention allows us to challenge them and put their project into perspective.”
Experts identification
“We thank BIOLEDGE for their great reactivity in response to an urgent need on our part.
For our request, which was a little particular, dense, and with an important part of analysis, they were able to meet our expectations with great scientific quality.
We will call on them again.”
Bibliographic Search & Literature Review
“We have been working with BIOLEDGE for almost 2 years.
The reactivity of the team and the reliability of the results meet the requirements of the Pierre Fabre group's collaborators, both for bibliographic search and for literature reviews, and this for all subjects of importance to our activities.”
CASES STUDIES
STATE OF THE ART
Background & Objectives
Within research tax credit, BIOLEDGE was committed for drafting of the technical and financial justification file for a pharmaceutical company with different R&D activities in analytical and organic chemistry and in dermatology.
Approach
The mission included R&D tax credit audit with a thorough review of R&D projects regarding the eligibility criteria, documentation analysis, and writing the state of scientific and technical knowledge for each project.
Result
We write an audit-defensible R&D tax credit study report for our client dealing with the following research activities:
- chemical synthesis of active ingredients
- polymorphs crystallization and identification
- impurities identification
- analytical methods
- formulation processes
COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
Background & Objectives
Within the framework of a Horizon 2020 call for projects, a project leader asked to draw up a strategic overview of a new cell therapy approach to treat hematological diseases.
Approach
The methodology involved patents and clinical trials analysis in Europe / North America / Asia, and economic data search.
Result
This mission highlighted trends and provided an in-depth analysis of inventive activity and clinical research, including key players, portfolios, major partnerships and medical approaches. In addition, the costs associated with cell therapy procedures were assessed in Europe and the United States.
.
STRATEGIC POSITIONING ANALYSIS
Background & Objectives
A national cancer research center needed to benchmark itself against other centres at national and European levels to define its strategic roadmap for its development.
Approach
The methodology was designed by BIOLEDGE to meet the specific needs expressed by the applicant, combining secondary sources and a preliminary bibliometric analysis. First of all, a search of bibliographic databases was carried out to collect documents (patents, clinical trials) from the centres being compared. Then, the relevant documents were analysed by bibliometrics. Finally, the information gathered was supplemented by collecting data from the centres' websites and other sources. The choice of qualitative and quantitative indicators was based in particular on scientific production, inventive activity, knowledge transfer and existing accreditations or labels.
Result
The study identified the dynamics of the centres and provided an indicator-based comparison with a comprehensive overview for each centre.
Moreover, it allowed to analyse the centres' operating models to identify key objectives that the client could use as a basis for defining a competitive strategy over 5 to 10 years..
MARKET INTELLIGENCE
Background & Objectives
As part of the development of the innovative Biopharma product range, a global leader in blood products and biotherapy asks to detect development opportunities for products in cell culture and bioproduction.
Approach
Both primary and secondary market research were combined to get a top-level view of the market.
Information for primary research came from international private players in the biopharmaceutical market.
Articles, patents, clinical trials, and web data were explored for secondary research.
Result
The desk research gave an overview of potential applications and a mapping of key players (KOL and competitors) and IP.
The field research established collection of uses, issues and expectations of private players in the biopharmaceutical market.
Finally, recommendations were provided to guide strategic decisions.
